Pre-made natural bamboo hoops for making and crafting all sorts of things, the ideal material for Chinese paper lanterns! Harvested from our pesticide and chemical free groves in Ohio, USA, these hoops are handmade using relatively fresh all-natural bamboo, and anyone's that's worked with natural bamboo strips know that sometimes they get cantankerous when you try to make them be hoops! So, I've taken the work out of the most difficult part for you... now you can concentrate more on the art-form and less on the architecture.
If you're looking for perfectly round machined hoops, these... are not them. However, if you're after natural, organic, misshapen and imperfect... than I can help! These hoops are great for mobiles, paper fish and Chinese lantern making, dream-catchers, fiber arts, and more.
After experimenting with several types of tapes and methods, I found that small zip ties were a quicker, more reliable and durable option than anything else, so that's how these hoops are fastened, 2 small zip ties. The larger hoops in particular gt misshaped. The smaller ones tend to be a bit more circular, but tricky... I'll typically break a hoop for every one of the 4-5 inch hoops that make it.
Finally, some organic thin flexible natural bamboo hoops, grown and carefully handmade in the good 'ole USA for paper crafts and more!
